Key Information
This course is designed for non-native teachers of English and aims to introduce new approaches to teaching the English language while helping participants to refresh and polish their own language skills. The course is full of ideas and teaching styles to enable you to plan your classes and motivate students in new ways. Participants will have the opportunity to develop and practice these techniques, revitalise their teaching approach, and add to the stock of resources for their classes.

CLIC - Content & Language Integrated Learning

Key Information
This course is designed for non-native teachers of subjects (biology, geography, physics,  history, etc.). It aims to introduce and explain the CLIL approach to teaching academic subjects in L2, while also helping participants to refresh their own English language skills. The course will comprehensively examine all aspects of CLIL, while giving participants the opportunity to practice the methodology. Participants will understand that the needs of learners in L2 lessons are vastly different to those in L1 lessons, and will develop and practice teaching techniques that can support and motivate subject students in new ways.

Participants will have the opportunity to develop and practice these techniques while also refreshing and polishing their own language skills.

Familia: disponibles de sábado a sábado o de domingo a domingo. Se pueden reservar noches extras. En los alrededores de Galway. Disponibilidad limitada. Habitaciones individuales, media pensión semanal y completa en fin de semana. *Dobles sólo para personas que viajen juntas. 
Distancia: 15 a 35 minutos en transporte público.
 
Apartamentos: disponibles de sábado a sábado. No se pueden reservar noches extras. 2 y 3 habitaciones para 3 a 5 personas. Habitaciones con baño individuales. * Dobles sólo para personas que viajen juntas. Compartiendo cocina. Equipados con cocina completa, ropa de cama y toallas. Distancia: 10 - 20 minutos andando a la escuela. 
 
Para reservar apartamentos, hay que aportar los datos de una tarjeta de crédito para autorizar el cargo de 150€. Esta pre autorización no se deducirá pero limitará temporalmente el saldo de la tarjeta. Este cargo sólo se realizará en caso de posibles desperfectos o cancelaciones.
