Application procedure
After our video call, if you fit the criteria and like my proposal, you prepare your au pair file:
Remember, the more attractive your file, the more family choices you will get.
Once we receive whole file, we will offer it to suitable host families.
Once a family is interested in you:
- Full application form and au pair agreement. (forms emailed to you)
- Host family presentation letter in English or Spanish.
- Photos of yourself ( with your family, friends, kids you looked after...)
- 2 Childcare related references: babysitting, volunteering, camp monitor, sport monitor, teacher...(plaintiff emailed to you)
- Medical certificate less than 3 months old. (plaintiff emailed to you)
- Police clearance certificate.
- Copy of Passport.
- Copy of high school diploma (and others - if any - such as first aid, child care courses, foreign languages, sports…)
- Copy of driving licence (if needed).
Remember, the more attractive your file, the more family choices you will get.
Once we receive whole file, we will offer it to suitable host families.
Once a family is interested in you:
- I send you their family file.
- An SKYPE interview is set up.
- If both parts agree, match is confirmed.
- Destino Idiomas prepare family / au pair agreement that both parts will sign.
- Travel and insurance arrangements are made by au pair.
- Family meets aupair on arrival (airport, coach, train...)
